St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County is an independent, local, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization, which leads individuals to join together to offer person-to-person service to those in need. In FY 2014, SVdP helped 148,799 struggling neighbors through our programs.
St. Vincent de Paul receives 200 calls every day in our Helpline from people who are facing dire circumstances. These calls get dispatched to our network of 53 King County neighborhood-based chapters. The 1,300 volunteers in these chapters make home visits to help their neighbors with emergency services. They assist with rent and utility bills to prevent homelessness, provide vouchers for clothing and household goods at our stores, distribute food, and refer clients to SVdP’s Case Management program.
